EBN Team
Kevin Garrett
Carlos Lemus
Executive Director
Serving pastors and churches toward greater health and effectiveness. Kevin oversees network ministries, works closely with pastors and church leaders, and helps churches grow in disciple-making, church health, and revitalization.
Kevin brings experience in student ministry, music, recreation, education, outreach, and senior pastoral leadership. He offers leadership support, preaching, teaching, and encouragement grounded in a shared commitment to the gospel.
Hispanic Ministries Director
Helping churches reach and disciple the growing Hispanic community. Carlos mentors Hispanic pastors and churches, pastors a Hispanic congregation in Autauga County, and helps churches evangelistically engage their Hispanic neighbors.
Carlos assesses opportunities for new missions and ministry partnerships and coordinates international mission teams. Whether planning outreach, exploring Hispanic ministry, or scheduling a speaker, Carlos helps churches unite and equip leaders to impact communities.
Barbara Kay Edwards
Church Ministries Director
Connecting churches, leaders, and ministry opportunities. Barbara Kay coordinates communication and ministry support across the network and works with staff and volunteers in Bible Drill, Vacation Bible School, women’s conferences, children’s events, and Bible studies.
She manages scheduling for EBN facilities, ministries, and events; connects churches with local, state, national, and international ministry partners; and helps pastors and leaders navigate resources through EBN, the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions, the Southern Baptist Convention, and mission boards.
Danny Guthrie
Media Ministries Director
Helping churches communicate the gospel creatively and effectively. Danny creates and supports professional podcasting, video production, and social media, helps churches communicate their message and ministries, and provides access to tools and equipment in our ministry Hub.
